With a focus on instilling confidence, compassion and respect within our student body and larger community, our staff work as a team and look forward to guiding your child along their educational journey.
Ms. Yolanda
After finishing my education degree in Edmonton, I taught English in Japan before starting my teaching career in Winnipeg. After the birth of my first child I moved to Vancouver where I saw first hand the impact of a Montessori approach to teaching. I came to Moose Jaw to be with family and my second child was born. In 2006 I began working with a friend to open the first Montessori school in the city. This became a reality in January 2007. I became the sole director in 2010 when I moved the school into a shared space with the Hillcrest Church. We were there for many years until we were able to find our own, stand alone building. The program has grown and changed through the years but my love of the method and children has remained constant.
Ms Marie Anne
I would like to introduce myself. I am Ms. Marie-Anne. I have always been interested in working with children and knew early on that this would become my career path. I have been working for over 26 years in childcare centers. It has been a joy to see children grow, play and achieve their milestones. I was then fortunate enough to further my career and became a Montessori preschool teacher where I have had the pleasure to work for the last 9 years. It has been very interesting to see the difference of how children learn through play within daycare centers and how the Montessori classroom promotes independent exploration and hands on learning. Seeing children learn in a space which encourages their natural curiosity in which children feel the freedom to explore and learn. It has been such a rewarding and satisfying career to watch children who once were shy, reserved or unsure of themselves grow and become more confident with themselves through self-directed and self-motivated learning activities that we provide. Every day I strive to make a positive impact on children in a supportive environment.
Ms Diana
Let me introduce myself. I am Ms. Diana. I was a natural born nurturer and have always had a passion for helping others and taking care of children. At an early age I always knew I would take the path of an Early Childhood Educator. I have especially found it rewarding to work with special needs children. It takes patience, compassion, adaptability and empathy to be able to help children and adults with special needs. Previously I have had the pleasure to worked in childcare centers for over 14 years, including running a preschool program. I have always strived to be a positive influence on children and ensured to create a nurturing environment for them. Although I loved working with children, I changed my career path to become a Special Care Aide. In this position I have had the opportunity to work both with adults, as well as children with special needs. For the last 24 years I have been working with a client who is a ventilator dependent quadriplegic. This position, though very challenging, has been a very rewarding experience. For the last 2 years I have had the pleasure to work casually here at the Montessori school. I work mostly behind the scenes and help fill in if needed. Being at Montessori and working with my client helps to fill both great passions of mine. Who could ask for anything more, watching children grow and develop into confident, self-sufficient learners and providing my client with personal, physical and emotional support to help her feel more independent and confident. I have the best of both worlds!

Ms Ayden
Hello! My name is Ayden. I’m 19 years old and in the process of learning how to be a teacher. I am interested in Early Childhood Education because I love being around kids and watching them grow and develop all kinds of different personalities. I think it is interesting to see how different kids are from each other and how they can communicate with one another. I’m also interested in teaching at a bigger school where I would be in my own classroom. I’m hoping this will help me accomplish my goals and leave a positive impact on all the students.
Ms Kayla
Hello! My name is Kayla Klotz, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Child’s View Montessori Preschool. I believe in fostering an environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. I am passionate about creating a nurturing space that respects each child’s individuality and promotes a love of learning.
I have a strong background in child development and behavioral development, which helps me connect with children and build meaningful relationships. My goal is to support each child’s unique journey and help them develop both academically and emotionally.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking, baking, and expressing myself through art. I look forward to bringing my creativity and enthusiasm to the classroom and creating a fun, engaging, and supportive learning experience for all of our little ones!
